Career Ahead provides you with the opportunity to influence the future success of UOW students. As an alumni mentor you will help develop the interview skills of students, building their confidence and experience to help them enter the workforce.
Alumni Mentor Commitment - Faculty of Commerce Alumni
- You must be a UOW graduate or friend of the University (including UOW honoraries).
- For those Alumni who wish to be Interview Facilitators, they must be available to attend a Facilitator briefing on Monday 14th July between 8:30am and 1:00pm on Campus at UOW.
- To participate in the program you will need to be available on Friday 18th July from 8.00am to 4:30pm to participate in the mentored interviews. Breakfast will commence at 8.00am and include a briefing session with DMW Recruitment. The Commerce & Business Network will also provide a special lunch.
- Prior reading of the Alumni Mentored Interview Pack (to be sent out two weeks before the interviews) is required. A brief induction will be held during breakfast on the day of the event.
- We hope that you will attend a Networking/Cocktail function at the end of the day (commencing at 4:30pm). All participating students and alumni will be invited to attend this Function.
- We ask that all participating alumni complete a program evaluation form.
